![]() MT RNG: Initial seed searcher for finding a frame with specific PID/EC, multiple shinies in a single horde etc.90% DexNav RNG support (TinyMT part): There are issues with caves and creepy places in general.Complete Normal wild/Horde/Fishing/Honey/Radar/Victory Road swooping encounters support including various fixes compared to Tiny Timeline Tool.TinyMT index filtering: No need to scroll forever in order to find the target index.TinyMT seed date searcher for Citra: Calibration is required.Details are included in the RNG Guides I am gonna talk about in the end of the post, but a brief list of its main features includes the following: It should be used along with 3DS RNG Tool for the complete gen 6 RNG experience. ![]() This is a tool I created myself from scratch. Gen 6: Tiny Finder - Download Link / Source code (CFW required) Modified indexation of both the PID/IV frames: Just advance to your target frame without aiming for -1, -2 etc.Star/Square shiny marks using the same colors as 3DS RNG Tool.Tons of bug fixes: Fishing/Cave spot slots, cute charm, shaking grass sync etc.Bubble/Fishing spot separation: Surfing inside a water spot is obviously different than fishing inside it and the encounters slots are being affected as well so these 2 are no longer merged.Quite useful for better control of both the PID/IV frames. No prior setup required, just boot the game and follow the process. Phenomenon spot instant trigger: Take 19 steps (not turns), advance to a marked frame, and on the 20th step, the spot should be generated 90% of the time (your character's position affects this).Don't forget to check the Battle Trigger box and aim for green marked ratio frames. Quite useful when the weather can't get rid of as well as for places with many wandering NPCs. To make it work, you need to take a few steps (preferably inside the wild area not around it) before setting everything up. Wild RNG encounter ratio: Instead of using sweet scent, you can trigger a wild battle by taking a step/turn.Dark grass RNG support: Frames that generate double battles are marked as such, and will only show the info of the Pokemon on the right side for now.You need to put the possible level range of your target manually, so the tool can calculate the exact level for each frame accurately. The slot 4 Gyarados (lvl 1-100) from Nature Preserve, is the most famous example. Wild Pokemon level RNG: For swarm slots and aquatic encounters, the level of wild Pokemon is not fixed for a given encounter slot. ![]() Gen 3/4 as well as Gen 5 Hidden Grotto, eggs etc, still exits in this fork but they may be bugged/incomplete so I recommend using PokeFinder for these. ![]() This is only useful for stuff not being fully supported by PokeFinder yet (aka Gen 5 Wild/Stationary encounters). Gen 5: RNG Reporter - Download Link / Source code (No CFW/Emulator required)įork version of Admiral Fish's fork, originally created by Slashmolder, mingot and OmegaDonut. Setting up a VM or using wine/mono, will do the job for other platforms but I am not gonna explain the process on this post. Seeing how quiet this subreddit has been, and due to the fact that most updates are being posted on the discord server only, I decided to make this post in order to inform people about my work so far and provide some new RNG methods to try out.Īt the time of writing, the tools provided on this post, run on Windows machines only. As the same RNG value is duplicated for Great Marsh encounters I could check to see if there is a pattern there too, but was just wondering if any RNG gurus on this subreddit has a bit of knowledge on this. As I'm a law-abiding Pokemon player and trying not to do time manipulation to change daily swarms, this is really annoying!Īgain, this could completely be situational, it's just appeared to happen three times now, it's made me think that the stored DS clock offset is factored into swarm encounter RNG. ![]() Each time I replace the clock offset value, the following day the swarm encounter is Phanpy, then Snubbull, then Drowszee.etc. However I have found (completely situational!) that this may mess up my daily swarm encounters. I use my N3dsxl for playing, but then use my original DS for migrating required Pokemon from GBA games.Īs I use a second device to migrate, it requires you to wait 24 hours and set the internal DS clock offset value to the save each time. I have been completing Pokemon Diamond living dex (doing a sort of loose Oak challenge too). Hi guys, was not sure if this was the right subreddit to post in! Let me know if it's not appropriate and I'll remove. ![]()
